Canon’s Flagship EOS 1DX Mark II To Feature Dual CFast & CF Slots
We have been told that the new and upcoming Canon 1D X Mark II will have a one CFast memory card slot and one CompactFlash card slot.
We have been informed that Canon is going back and forth on the topic of whether they should offer just yet dual CFast memory card slots or not yet. This would be a very nice feature for professional photographers because they can simply upgrade to the much faster CFast memory on their own agenda instead of having to go all out and buying a bunch of brand new memory cards when the 1DX Mark II finally launches.
We are very hopeful that there is a decent safety features that would prevent CFast memory cards from jamming in the Compact Flash memory card slot or there might be plenty of companies about jammed CF cards and bent pins on people’s cameras.
